Arsenal returned to winning ways by defeating Newcastle United 1-0 away from home in today’s early kick off game in the league.
However, the performance level of the Gunners is by no means impressive. The North Londoners have only scored three goals (2 own goals) in the PL so far and only one player from their squad has his name on the score-sheet i.e. Olivier Giroud.
With top quality playmakers in the attacking midfield department, Arsene Wenger needs to sign world class striker to solve the strike-force dilemma once and for all.
However, if reports are anything to go by then Arsenal are closing in to sign another playmaker in the form of Andriy Yarmolenko.
Metro cite reports in Spain claiming that Arsenal are weighing up a 14.5 million pounds move to sign the 25-year-old Ukrainian star. Yarmoleno has netted 101 goals in 268 appearances for the Premier Liga side but instead of signing him, Arsenal really need an out and out striker.
