$26.5m Offer Made: How Liverpool will Line up with Versatile Star

NUFC Moussa SissokoChelsea and Liverpool are keen to hire the services of Newcastle United star and French international Moussa Sissoko.
The 25-year-old Les Bleus star has been impressive for the magpies and has earned his place in the national side as well.
According to reports, Liverpool have closed in to beat Chelsea and sign Sissoko by making a $26.5m offer.
Moreover, Spanish source Fichajes claim that Liverpool are going all out to secure the services of the versatile star.
Capable of playing in central midfield as well as attacking midfield, the former Toulouse star can prove to be a fruitful signing for the Reds.
The merseysiders have got more than a few playmakers in the form of Coutinho, Firmino, Lallana, Markovic and Ibe etc hence Moussa Sissoko should not be utilized in attack if he signs for the Anfield club.
Liverpool lack quality and depth in midfield and Rodgers may use him with Milner and Henderson in midfield.
Here is how we believe Liverpool will line up with Moussa Sissoko.

There have been too many rumours on players linked to Anfield this summer. One latest report is that Assier Illaramendi is on the verge of joining the Reds from Real Madrid. Another counter report states that Illaramendi has rejected LFC offer because Real Madrid coach, Benitez, rates him high. Now this report again that LFC have made a bid of $26.5m for Moussa Sissoko. Which report should we believe? Be that as it may, I do not mind either Illaramendi or Sissoko in the mid-field function at Anfield. Both are quality players.
However, I am particularly interested in the young winger from Barcelona, Adama Traore, whom I learnt LFC’s representatives have flown to Spain to conclude his deal. I watched his highlights on Youtube and find him absolutely terrific. He is quite pacey, energetic and skillful. He would make a solid replacement for Raheem Sterling that left for Manchester City for 49m pounds recently. He will worry opposing defenders and create lots of chances for us. I would request Liverpool to quickly seal the deal for Adama Traore with a view to deploying him to the Senior team this summer.

well I think for now we are good to go. Optimism speaking I know, but to be realistic,it never would have been easy to attract top talents based on the competitions on offer at Anfield. The much we’ve got…I’d say the management’s efforts are very laudable. I just pray we trash Stoke on the 8th. That would be an immeasurably effective confidence boost. It would also give the players that little bit sense of arrogance needed in the modern game. That sense comes with confidence.

The reports on the Defensive Midfielder should probably be deciphered as follows. Liverpool put in a bid for Illarramendi. Illarramendi turned Liverpool down. Liverpool still wishing to fill the position then turned to Sissoko. Remember the Illarramendi reports are a few days old now.
I too am really excited by the Traore reports as he looks a world beater- even though I would expect to have to wait a couple of seasons for him to confirm that. That said I still don’t quite believe these rumours. They all started because a journalist tweeted that a Liverpool represented was in Barcelona. The journalist jumped to the conclusion that they were going to sign Traore who had been the subject of inquiries from Manchester Utd and Bayern Munich a couple of weeks ago. Of course the Liverpool representative, if representative there was, could be there to discuss Moreno’s sale to Barcelona (another rumour doing the rounds). This Traore rumour then started to get distorted in several directions. Firstly it was suggested that he had a release clause of 15million Euros and then that Liverpool were going to loan him for a season with an option to buy. Why would they do that when the release clause was so cheap for such a player? Then came the rumours that Barcelona, who had previously been said to be desperate to keep the player, were prepared to let him come to Liverpool for just 10million Euros, therefore 5million Euros below his release clause. Have Barcelona suddenly turned into a charity? Or is there something very fishy about the whole rumour? I fear the latter….. Especially as Barcelona will probably already be smarting that another talented youth winger, Bobby Adekanya, had turned down the chance to stay at Barca and joined Liverpool on a free transfer just a few weeks ago.

That’s great, let’s get Adama Troare and either Sissokho or Illara in the defensive midfield pack they will add more quality to the team.
