Manchester United supporters might not be happy with this news but it looks like Angel Di Maria’s departure from Old Trafford is going to happen this summer.
According to reports in France, Di Maria has already agreed to seal transfer away from Old Trafford in favor of joining Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.
As per the provided link, the transfer fee should be around around 60 million Euros for the speedy attacker.
The record signing arrived from Real Madrid last summer after helping the Los Blancos win Copa del Rey and Champions League.
The Argentine international was even awarded the Man of the Match prize for his brilliant performance in the Champions League final against Atletico Madrid in 2013-14.
However, after underwhelming displays in his first season at Old Trafford, the former Benfica star looks set to leave Manchester United.
In the second half of the season, the 27 year old star found himself warming the bench more often than not as rejuvenated Ashley young earned the starting place.
The news is shocking because Angel di Maria is a big game world class player and again proved his quality with the national side at the Copa America.
As previously reported by Metro, Di Maria is likely to be replaced by another Argentine and current Benfica star Nicolas Gaitan.

In a radio interview during the copa, di maria himself has said that he has no plans to leave utd… he said he was booed by the fans during his time in madrid in his first season bcoz he struggled, but subsequently overcame it.. so there is no question utd will leave him just bcoz he had a below par season… every player finds difficult to adapt to english conditions & the pace & aggression of the epl.. de gea found it difficult also but see what he has now become… and i’m sure utd will keep faith they hv bcoz he is the british record signing!!!! he needs to hv more game time to find his rhythm.. also his problem of losing possession( a problem he also had while playing for real and arg) will be counteracted by ball winners such as schweini & morgan around him… so for me this are nothing but rumours
Angel Dimaria is one of the best player in the world, my advice is to retain him at utd, the form he loss will soon be recorver, epl is quite different from other league, epl tough than any other league in the world, I believe if we give dimaria time in utd, he will be back to his form.
I don’t think DI MARIA will shine in Man Utd; He is too good but too weak to manage premier league physical games; He performed well in Copa America because it wasn’t physical,but premier league is too physical, so it will be very good if he is exchange with CAVANI; GAITAN is a perfect replacement of DI MARIA;LVG why don’t you want to sign for us LACAZATTE???…?.
Man utd must do whatever they can to make sure that Di Maria stays in Man utd.
If we can mantain Di Maria i dont see any good reason why we cant win the league, by the players we have now we can even win the UCL BELIEVE me.
I prefer De Maria to stay input @Man United,he wasn’t useless last season so i believe he will be more useful this season with the likeness of our newly powerful midfielders.What Luis Van Gal needs now is to go out there and sign a central DF and a physical player up front to support Roo…
