Arsenal are Making a Massive Blunder

Arsene Wenger UpsetGoes without saying that if Arsenal do not sign top quality players this summer then they can forget about winning the Premier League title next season.

More importantly, for progress, Gunners need to keep their best players and one of last season’s key players was Spanish defender Nacho Monreal.

According to Spanish source AS, the 29 year old La Roja star will leave Gunners this summer to join Athletic Bilbao on a three year contract. Athletic will be paying 10 million Euros.

If reports are by any chance concrete then Arsenal are making a massive blunder by selling the Spaniard.

The former Malaga star was not just the unsung hero for Arsenal football club last season but was arguably their best defender in all honesty.

Monreal was not just solid at the back but was also productive in attack for the North Londoners. Gunners surely remember his goal against Man United.

Arsenal’s defense remains one of their weakest departments alongside strike-force and losing a versatile player who can also play in central defense is the last thing they need.

Wenger will sleep and dream. He will wakeup at the end of the season to say “we almost or injuries”. Can’t Wenger see Girud is not good enough? Or, what if Coqueline get injured? But for how long do fans need to wait to win the league?
