Now, few hours back Peru defeated Venezuela thanks to a cracking goal from former Chelsea and Bayern Munich star Claudio Pizzaro.
The veteran striker was a highly rated forward in Europe during his first tenure with German giants Bayern Munich but 36 year old Pizzaro showed he has still got the X factor as he smashed the ball to earn Peru a crucial win.
Venezuela were reduced to 10 men after Fernando Amorebieta was red carded around half hour mark.
Even after playing an hour with a man advantage, Peru were mostly frustrated upfront. However, in the 72nd minute, Guerrero found Pizzaro who smashed the ball with enough power that keeper could not keep it out.
