Tottenham Closing in to Secure Top Kaiser Signing

Pochettino-TottenhamTottenham are focused on reinforcing their defense for now but hope that they can somehow keep quality goal keeper Hugo Lloris.

The French international is linked with a move away from the North London club and Spurs are hence looking to sign a top replacement.

According to reports in Germany, Tottenham are closing in to secure Weidenfeller signing from Dortmund.

As per the provided link, Bild claim that a bidding war is going on to sign Roman but they have not mentioned any other club’s interest apart from Tottenham who are flirting with the BVB keeper because Hugo Lloris is heavily courted by Manchester United.

If Lloris does exit White Hart Lane, Weidenfeller can be a quality addition for Spurs despite the fact that the Kaiser did not perform well last season.

Although, other clubs are not mentioned by Bild but interest from Bundesliga sides is there as Dortmund have signed a new goalie.

Is Weidenfeller perfect replacement for Hugo Lloris?

  1. Brian Himself says:

No – He could be a replacement for Friedel.
Lloris will not go to ManU. for less than 35 million plus Hernandez.
It would be a good deal for MU but one wonders if Woodward has the guts to do it.
