Brazil and Serbia collided in the U20 World Cup final and it was an absolute cracker. In the end Serbia won 2-1.
The first half was quite mundane with no goals but the game came to life in the second 45 minutes.
The Europeans took the lead thanks to Mandic in the 70th minute. However, the lead was cancelled out within minutes by Manchester United playmaker Andreas Pereira who scored an absolute stunner.
The Brazilian star took mattters in his own hand and showed the world his brilliant individual talent. Pereira had the ball on the left flank, ripped defense apart, cutting past 4 Serbian players before slotting the ball in the corner.
Pereira started to trend worldwide on twitter for that magical goal. Unfortunately, Brazil lost the game in Extra time as Maksimovic scored on a quick counter attack very late in Extra time to make Serbia U20 world champions.
The vine of that fantastic goal is provided below.
