Long Term Deal Agreed, Fee Could Rise to €21million as Manchester United Target Mandzukic Officially Signs for Juve

Mario Mandzukic Bayern MunichManchester United have been linked with many top class players this summer but up till now have only completed one signing officially.

Memphis Depay is surely a quality talent but the Red Devils still need to reinforce their attack with a prolific goal scorer.

One such player targeted was Croatian international Mario Mandzukic. However, United have lost out on the former Bayern Munich star as Mandzukic has officially signed for Italian champions Juventus from Atletico Madrid.

The 29 year old star striker has signed a long term deal that will expire in 2019 and the fee could rise to €21million as reported by BBC.

Mario is delighted to have completed the switch from the Spanish side as he claimed:

“I like Juventus and I like the city [Turin]. I hope I will be happy here. I will fight for my new team,”

He scored 20 goals in 43 appearances for Atletico Madrid last season and will likely replace Carlos Tevez who looks set to depart this summer.

Manchester United, on the other hand can forget about winning PL if they are not going to reinforce their strike-force in the transfer market. Louis van Gaal must sign a top striker at all costs.

For sure Man Utd should forget winning premier league if they don’t reinforce their strike-forces in the transfer market by signing top strikers at all costs; It will be very good for Man Utd to sign good strikers like(LACAZETTE and HARRY KANE) but not players who have made names already forinstance (Falcao) who had made a name already before did nothing good at Man Utd (scoring 4 goals); Very good Mandzukic was signed by Juventus because he is not good enough to solve Man Utd problems and is even approaching 30yrs; Basing on reality Utd has never got a good striker ever since Ruud Vanestelrooy left for Real Madrid and now De Gea is also going to that very direction and let me hope Utd will get his good replacement for him; Thanks.
