Man United CLOSE in to Seal the Best Deal of Summer

Manchester United had huge concerns in midfield when David Moyes was in charge of the club.
However, last season the rejuvenated form of Carrick, Fellaini and new signing Herrera improved things a lot under Van Gaal.
Still, the Red Devils need quality midfield players to further amplify the quality and deptjh of the department much needed to compete at the top level.
In such a scenario, the latest reports suggest that United are closing in to complete brilliant double deal to sign two top midfielders.
According to Daily Star, Manchester United are closing in to seal deal to sign Bayern Munich legend Bastian Schweinsteiger and Dortmund’s versatile midfielder Ilkay Gundogan.
Schweni is World Class, can play in various midfield positions but at the age of 30, the deep lying playmaker role will suit him the best. He missed major part of first half of the season because of injury but is now fully fit.
On the other hand, Gundogan is someone who can contribute to both attack as well as defense. The Kaiser also had injury concerns last season but has bounced back this term.
As per the provided link, Ilkay was in talks with Bayern for a move but that is not the case anymore and United must sign him.
If the Old Trafford club can somehow complete the signing of German duo then arguably that should be considered as the best deal of the summer.
