While Arsenal fans are ecstatic that the club have finally sealed the signing of Petr Cech from Chelsea, they must not forget that the main void still needs to be filled.
Gunners already have decent goalkeepers in top class Ospina and Polish star Szczesny.
Although, Cech’s arrival is brilliant news as he has been one of the best goalies in the past decade but the North Londoners mainly need a top quality striker.
Arsenal are linked with numerous quality strikers and right now the one in the lime light is French international and Lyon star Alexandre Lacazette.
According to reports, the highly rated 24 year old striker has been offered to Arsenal and Metro claim that a move of €29m by the Gunners will be accepted by the Ligue 1 side.
Lacazette is exactly the kind of regular goalscorer Arsenal need in their squad. Last season, he netted 31 goals and provided 8 assists in 40 games for Lyon.
If he can replicate top form in PL for Arsenal then Gunner supporters can seriously think about winning the league.

Lacazette is young , strong and very quick in addition to the fact that he is french who will need not to take a long time to adapt and will join a number of french players at Arsenal as well as the manager Prof . Arsene wenger and I believe the price is right for such a good striker , so we must sign before it is too late . Already a number of our transfer targets have been signed by other clubs.
Arsenal must sign a very good striker if they want to compete with others for the League title. Peter C is good but not enough. Theo and Giroud are not good enough as both misses a lot of chances and they are not World Class. The defence also need improvement. The other teams like Chelsea, united and City are getting stronger next season so I don’t think Arsenal have the capability to win the title next Season, maybe second or third.
Lacazette signed for PSG a month ago and will be loaned back to Lyon for 2015/16.

We need a quality striker not some unknown from France, Giroud is not the man to lead the Arsenal attack, he is at best a sub, all this mucking about is typical of Arsenal, we need players now so we can start the season with them having games behind them, not the panic buy we are so use to
