Perhaps Arsenal have given up their chase of signing Liverpool star Raheem Sterling with Manchester City taking serious interest in English winger.
However, to further reinforce their already brilliant playmaking department, Gunners are once again looking to sign German talent Julian Draxler from Schalke.
According to reports, Arsenal have moved a step closer to signing Draxler from the Bundesliga side and media suggests that a move of €41m is on the table to secure his services.
As per the provided link, the 21 year old playmaker is looking to move away from Schalke and is interested in England move.
Draxler had a torrid last season as he spent majority of his time on the treatment table and could only feature in 19 games for the club. He scored 2 goals and provided 2 assists. Julian was part of the World Cup winning squad last year.
Capable of playing anywhere in attack as a winger, central attacking midfielder or secondary striker, Arsenal can benefit from his versatility. However, with Cazorla, Alexis and Ozil mainly taking the starting roles, not sure where will Arsene Wenger fit him in the line up.
Assuming that he will start, here is how Arsenal will line up with Draxler.
