Barcelona and Juventus fought for the biggest prize in Europe and to complete treble, eventually the Spaniards won 3-1 on the night.
The Catalan giants lifted their 5th European Cup and are now level with Bayern Munich and Liverpool.
Barca started the game on fire scoring inside first 5 minutes when Iniesta came to life and found Rakitic who netted home from 7 yards.
The La Liga giants dominated the possession as expected but could not make the most of it in the first half as the scoreline remained 1-0.
Juve bounced back in the second half and equalized thanks to former Real Madrid star Alvaro Morata who scored from close range after Tevez’s shot was blocked by Stegen in his path in the 55th minute.
Ten odd minutes later, Suarez restored Barca’s lead. This time Messi ran through the defense and his shot was deflected back by Buffon to the Uruguayan.
As Juve pushed for the equalizer in the final minutes, Barca found space and eventually sealed the victory as Neymar scored the third goal.
