Manchester United have already moved in the market to reinforce their attack after agreeing deal for Dutch star Memphis Depay.
However, Louis van Gaal still wants more firepower in his attacking setup and now United are targeting one of his favorite players Thomas Muller.
The German international broke into Bayern Munich’s first team when he was a teenager thanks to Louis van Gaal who believed in his abilities. Muller impressed, earned the spot for 2010 World Cup and eventually won the Golden boot as well.
Hence the 25 year old forward has a very close relation with current United boss. On the other hand, Muller’s relation with Guardiola has perhaps reached boiling point after the incident against Barcelona and Man United are ready to take advantage of that.
According to reports, Manchester United are ready to seal the signing of Thomas Muller for 45 million pounds.
As per the provided link, Muller’s relation with Pep is beyond repair.
This season, in 45 games for the German champions, Muller has netted 20 goals and also provided 18 assists.
Capable of playing out wide, as a secondary striker or center forward, Muller is a versatile star who can largely improve United’s attack.
The mentioned price tag is very high but Muller is clearly worth that amount. United must act swiftly to seal his signing.
