Red Devils Clear to Sign Midfielder who Loves Man United

Axel Witsel ZenitManchester United are linked with numerous quality players in almost every department to improve the quality of the squad.

As far as midfield department is concerned, the rejuvenated form of Herrera and Fellaini has helped the Red Devils big time this season.

Still, the depth is a concern, on loan Cleverley is not good enough while veteran Carrick will surely not be completing 90 minutes every game next season.

In such a scenario, Manchester United are in for versatile midfielders and lately players like Ilkay Gundogan and Axel Witsel are linked.

According to latest reports, Manchester United have been cleared to move and sign Belgian international and Zenit star midfielder Axel Witsel in the summer transfer window.

Witsel’s father has claimed that the 26 year old player has played enough in Russia and now is the time for him to move to another club at the end of the season.

Not to forget, the Belgian star is a huge fan of Man United as not so long ago he claimed how much he loves the Premier Leaugue and Man United. Witsel stated:

“The voices of the market? I know nothing,”

“Sure, I love the Premier League and United ever since I was little. Sooner or later I want to play in one of the best clubs in Europe. I’m still young, I’ll see what the future holds.”

Like his compatriot Fellaini, Witsel is another versatile midfielder who can play as CM, DM or AM and has the quality to improve Man United.

Have your say. Should Louis van Gaal splash the cash to sign Witsel or move to capture German star Gundogan?

Man utd doesnt need witsel due to his steadyness infact he’s not capable of doing what gundogan does, Iikay is the type of mid-fielder who recently needed indeed

AXEL WITSEL + ILKAY GUNDOGAN:I would secure BOTH players; both are badly needed by UTD. With weekly rotating system LVG would definitely need BOTH.
