Argentine strikers are flying high in the Serie A this season with Tevez leading the charts and the likes of Icardi, Dybala and Higuain in the top 5 as well.
With such form, the youngsters like Mauro Icardi and Paulo Dybala have attracted interest from top European clubs, especially in the premier league.
One English giant in search of strikers is Manchester United. The Red Devils may have big names in the form of Rooney, Robin van Persie and Falcao but they need more firepower with Colombian not performing well and Van Persie past his best.
Falcao may as well return when his loan spell expires at the end of the season and it remains to be seen whether the Dutch star will be sold or not.
According to reports, Manchester United are closing in to sign Inter Milan star Mauro Icardi in the summer transfer window.
As per the provided link, United have sent scouts to track the Argentine international and are now considered favorites to sign €30m rated star.
The 22 year old Icardi has been in top form for struggling Nerazzurri side. This season, he has featured in 39 games for the Italian club, scored 20 goals and provided 5 assists as well.
The likes of Chelsea and Liverpool are also in the hunt for Icardi but Red Devils are the ones leading the race for now and must look to secure the deal as soon as possible.

The problem with united is, making business at the appropriate time. United are always an eye opener to other clubs. Once they show interest in a certain player, they don’t make advances and seal the deal, only for other clubs to snap the deal away. Whereas, the player may have been a good buy.
