Liverpool’s Strongest XI to face Swansea – Trio Back

Liverpool FCIn form Liverpool side face Swansea City away from home in a very significant game as far as Champions League places are concerned.

Tottenham are a single point behind the Reds while United are two points ahead as Spurs and Devils collide tomorrow. Hence, one or both of Liverpool’s CL spots rivals will drop points and merseysiders must capitalize and win against Swansea.

Brendan Rodgers men have defeated Southampton, Tottenham and Manchester City on the trot but put in a mundane performance at home in the FA Cup quarter final against Blackburn.

Reds must step up to beat Swansea and are boosted with a return of three stars in the form of Skrtel, Allen and captain fantastic Steven Gerrard.

According to reports, Skrtel and Gerrard are fit to play while there is still some doubt whether Allen will take part in the game or not.

Even Gerrard should not come back straight into the starting line up as BR has been running the system successfully without him and expect Emre Can to partner Henderson in midfield.

Here is Liverpool’s strongest XI to face Swansea.

i dont agree with that formation at all!!!!this formation is weak belive me!! Allen should on the midfield, we need someone to press the game. he has a very good reading of the game.

someone said, i think its Aldo, he said dont do that mistake of cahnging the system with which LFC are doing so well, you saw that in the match with Rovers there wasnt a good flow in the midfield we couldnt cntrol the midfield.if there were Allen down there the situation would be different

That’s ridiculous! Where does Soccersima gets its information? Can’s midfield performance against Blackburn showed he is strongest on the right side of defence and there he should stay. Allen or Gerrard with Hendo in midfield. Toure is far too slow against the Swansea attack.
