Deal Close – Arsenal to Conclude €41m Star Signing

BPLSince the departure of Robin van Persie to Manchester United, Arsenal have clearly lacked a world class striker upfront.
The Gunners have since signed the likes of Giroud and Welbeck, who have been decent at times but not up to the top quality standard required in the premier league.
Arsenal need a striker who will get them 20+ league goals in a season only then they can compete with the likes of City and Chelsea for the premier league crown.
Goes without saying, Costa and Aguero are world class and are a different class that cannot even be compared to the likes of Giroud and Welbeck.
Hence, Arsenal are eager to secure signing of a star striker next summer and as per latest reports they are closing in to sign Argentine star Paulo Dybala from Palermo.
The 21 year old center forward is one of the hottest stars in Serie A and perhaps have kept Palremo out of relegation single-handedly with his brilliant performances.
In 25 Serie A games this season, Dybala has directly contributed in no less than 20 goals (12 goals, 8 assists).
As per the provided link, Arsenal are to conclude the deal for Paulo Dybala signing but will have to splash around €41m to secure his services.
The price tag may be high but it is highly unlikely that Arsenal will be able to bargain much as Palermo are not financially stable, moreover clubs like Chelsea, Man United and Real Madrid are also interested who can always pay the asking price to lure him.
Therefore, Arsenal must not waste anymore time and should splash the cash to conclude his signing.

ridiculous. Girouds record since coming back from injury is as good as this guys. In a much better league.

    • Much better league right but relatively easy when it comes to scoring as Serie A has more rigid defenses.
Also, Giroud is in much better team with service provided from world class playmakers like Ozil, Alexis and Cazorla.
Dybala is in a very weak team who were in second division last season, and are now 11th in the Serie A mainly because of this youngster. Palermo has scored 38 goals in the league thus far with Paulo directly involved in 20.
Seriously does any Arsenal fan really believes that they can win the league with Giroud as the leading striker?

    It is a good development!

I personally believe Welbeck is a better option than Giroud yet i dont think he can be a star striker that can carry us in a league. We need world class options with strong and powerful second options. We need to have a guaranteed striker, not someone who will EVENTUALLY perform. This kid will be among those greats that can score that many for Arsenal. Giroud should retire. Joel Campell is even better than Giroud. I dont see his football

If we bring that kid to Arsenal, it will be a fantastic addition to our team. With him and Morgan Schnyderlin and a good addition in central defense, we will be well on our way to winning the Premier league and mount a a serious challenge for the champions league.
I have watched that kid play for Palermo ; he is a gem. A good ball handler. Unselfish and have a high pass accuracy. With players like Carzola, Ozil, Ox, Ramsey,Wilshire and Rosicky, we will boast of the best attacking midfield in the league.

He’s too expensive…..I wish Arsenal could sign Veratti, Varane and Lacazette
