Reigning FA Cup champions Arsenal qualified for the quarter finals of the competition by beating Middlesbrough in the 5th round.
Gunners were all dominant through out the game with majority of their attackers in top form and defense rarely had anything to worry about.
Szczesny was mostly a spectator as his hands were used less as compared to his feet while Giroud was the man to score the brace that helped Arsenal go through.
Ozil, Sanchez and Cazorla were threatening all game playing behind Welbeck and Giroud and England international Welbeck was arguably the least threatening attacker on the day for the North Londoners.
Left back Gibbs was influential in attack as well as he pressurized Middlesbrough’s defense in the first half and provided the perfect ball for the first goal. Debutant Gabriel Paulista had a strong game at the back as well.
The draw of the quarter finals will be out soon and Arsenal would hope to avoid in form Liverpool side.
