Despite spending hefty amount in attack under the management of Louis van Gaal, Manchester United’s offense has still not improved to a large extent.
The Red Devils will need new faces next season and quality stars are needed to take Man United back to the level where they were under Alex Ferguson.
According to latest reports, Manchester United are linked with an in form German winger Karim Bellarabi of Bayer Leverkusen.
As per Metro, Manchester United are close to signing Bellarabi by paying the release clause of $17 million for the 24 year old Kaiser.
Karim has been in brilliant form for Leverkusen this season and was one of the top players in last night’s victory over Spanish champions Real Madrid.
Bellarabi provided the crucial assist for the only goal of the game and has set up 3 goals in Champions League games this season.
In all competitions, he has featured in 32 games, scored 10 goals and provided 10 assists as well.
Manchester United lost out on Cuadrado to Chelsea and Bellarabi can be a decent alternate for the right wing position.
For now, the Red Devils do not have a single quality right winger. Valencia is mainly used as full back in Louis van Gaal’s set up, Di Maria is mainly effective on the left or through the middle while Januzaj still needs to improve a lot.
Hence, Bellarabi can be a significant signing in the summer for Manchester United.
