Manchester United Intensify Efforts to Sign €46m Superstar

Mats Hummels DortmundManchester United are perhaps looking to completely change the look of their central defense with two new additions.
The Red Devils have been in search of quality center backs since last summer and Louis van Gaal must find the solution sooner rather than later as the race for Champions League places intensifies in the second half of the season.
Manchester United were interested in signing Villareal star Gabriel Paulista but he will soon complete move to rivals Arsenal.
After losing out on Paulista, Manchester United have intensified their efforts to sign World Class Mats Hummels from Borussia Dortmund. Arsenal were also eager to secure the German international but with them capturing Paulista, United get boost to sign Mats.
The World Cup winner is rated around €46m and that is perhaps the fee United may have to splash in order to bring Hummels to Old Trafford.
Arguably one of the best defenders in the world, the captain of Borussia Dortmund has been injured mostly this season missing more than 10 games.
Dortmund are in turmoil, currently in the relegation zone with 15 points from 17 league games even when they have been flying high in the Champions Leauge.
It will be major coup for the Red Devils if Hummels arrives as he is one man who can surely fix United’s defensive dilemma once and for all.
On the other hand, reports suggest that the Old Trafford club are going to seal deal and sign Austrian star Dragovic.
