Varane is a brilliant signing, if he is available then go get him.
Varane is better than Hummels, so let try and get him now or sign Pepe.

i think i would go for Mats Hummel, though, Varane can never be ruled out. The league is getting more frezier, LvG should be able to get us more quality defenders who are better than shaky pair of Smalling and Evans.
I don’t think Varane is shaky, it’s just that he is not given enough game time at Madrid like we see Hummels play at Dortmund’s, it’s just the same as to smalling he was fantastic when he partners Rojo, they played about three games not conceding a goal, people don’t see that. Varane is going to be cheap and age is bonus as compared to Hummels. Go for him if the gates are open Ed WdWd.
