Sturridge Scores UnitedLiverpool and Chelsea will collide at Stamford Bridge in the second leg of the Capital One Cup final tomorrow night.

The first game ended 1-1 and with no away goals rule to be applied unless the game moves into extra time, the fixture is evenly poised.

Both clubs had disappointing outings at the weekend playing at home against weaker oppositions.

Bolton held Liverpool 0-0 to earn a replay while Bradford shamed Chelsea beating them 4-2 on the day.

Mourinho will be under pressure keeping in mind that the team must not repeat another disastrous home performance when Liverpool visit. Chelsea’s strongest XI can be viewed in the provided link.

As far as Liverpool’s team news is concerned, expect captain Gerrard to return to starting XI as well as the Brazilian holding midfield star Lucas Leiva.

There are chances that Daniel Sturridge may return to the squad after a successfull training session but will the Reds use him against Blues, we shall see.

Here is Liverpool’s probable 3-4-2-1 formation vs Chelsea.

If they are going to play this lineup with Chelsea, they cannot perform the same way that the did against Bolton. They will be on the end of a real beating if they don’t perform any better. I seriously hope that Sturridge is fit enough to play at least some of the game and manages to at least have a run-out and blow off some of the cobwebs. What is the deal with Can playing defense and Moreno in the center of the park? I thought Moreno was bought with the left side of defense in mind and Can was in the midfield?
