CONFIRMED – Liverpool Lineup Against Chelsea

Liverpool Steven GerrardLiverpool have made only one change in the starting XI that played against Aston Villa at the weekend.

Fabio Borini who opened the scoring for the merseysiders at Villa Park is on the bench while captain Steven Gerrard has returned from his injury concern to make the starting XI.

Reds surely need their captain fantastic against the best side in the country at the moment, Chelsea.

With no out and out strikers in the line up, Liverpool are perhaps playing Sterling as the false No. 9, a position where he has been deployed before a numerous times by Brendan Rodgers.

Chelsea defeated Liverpool in their only league meeting this season at Anfield and will hope to repeat the same performance although the home side have largely improved since then and Lucas Leiva might be the key again.

Adam Lallana has recovered in time to make the bench as well. Here is Liverpool’s confirmed line up against PL leaders Chelsea.
