Arsenal XI vs Dortmund with Ozil Out and Santi Starting

Mesut Ozil ArsenalOver a month gone in the new season and Arsenal have still been unable to hit form as they registered third consecutive draw in the premier league.
The Gunners just cannot find the perfect performance from all departments in a single game as yet. Against City, it was the defense that cost them points.
Onto the Europe’s biggest prize as Arsenal will take on Dortmund away from home in the Champions League. Last season, the North Londoners won the fixture thanks to a goal scored by Aaron Ramsey.
As far as the team news is concerned, new summer signing Debuchy got injured on Saturday and is likely to be replaced by Chambers. On the other end, Gibbs may make return to the starting XI in place of Monreal as left back.
World Cup winner Mesut Ozil put in another mundane performance at the weekend. He should not have started in the first place coming back from injury but eventually completed the entire game doing nothing productive.
Expect Santi Cazorla to step in for the German international. Wilshere should keep his starting place after top display against City, captain Arteta has recovered from injury and may make return to starting lineup vs Dortmund.
Here is Arsenal’s probable XI versus Dortmund with Ozil out.

Arsenal will expect nothing least than a point, if wenger continue his act of playing player out of their natural wing, how can you have a winger on the benc and manage midfielder on the flank, that’s were our problem begging, ealire he realise that is better for him an the club.

  2. Leonard says:

Wenger is not capable of rotating players. The likes of Rosisky, Campel should have been given a chance. will not be surprised to see the same line up tomorrow with only Arteta coming for Flamini and Chambers because he has no alternative. Carzola for Rambo and Rosisky for Ozil.

The madness of Wenger is now showing. He refused to buy a CB,DM and talented striker and cracks are already showing just after only four matches.

  4. arsene should stop gambling, fooling people, and living with dead conscience. he can’t be more clever than the whole world of fans. at this rate, we head to no where. I’ve not seen a man as heartless as arsenal arsene. God will judge you arsene as your wicked behavior has cost some lives. better change, Mr Proffessor of nothingness.

  5. Michael Martin says:

Everyone knew what positions we needed (DM, centre back and a striker) but because Wenger wants to do it his way we bought neither. If you fans want to settle fighting for 4th spot keep him as manager but if you want to be Champions it’s time for him to leave

  6. TAJ AZIZ says:

Wenger wont resign or retire so what’s to be done? Stay away from emirate let him and his bosses know that we mean what we feel

  7. Shu'aib Ebraheem says:

Wenger is arsenal’s biggest problem, I don’t see any reason why mesut ozil should be in the Arsenal first team against city, he’s nothing but a luxury n waste of money, n why is tomas rosicky not been given a chance after all he’s more consistent than ozil when it comes to the bigger fixtures, ozil has always rated 4 or 5/10 in all big matches that should tell Wenger something just because he’s arsenal’s most expensive player doesn’t make him the best player, check out cesc fabregas at chelsea n tell me ozil is not an ass!

  8. Prince Joe says:

The entire world is fed up with this Prof. of economics, if Wenger refuses to listen to the voice of reason, l implore the fans to boycot the Emirate for five home matches, let the fans go to our rivals and enrich their gate fees. Why on earth should we continue to be asking for CB/DM every summer and this stingy and nonentity refuses to burge, l think the best way for him is to throw in the towel and resign honorably because his ideas has derailed the club, no more idea upstairs. Enough of this weekly gamble.
