Arsenal Close in to Finally Agree €45m Supertar Deal

William Carvalho SportingArsenal had a successful summer transfer window as they lured several key stars to reinforce their squad for the new season.
Players like Alexis Sanchez, Danny Welbeck, Calum Chambers and Debuchy have largely amplified the quality of gunners.
However, the North Londoners still needed more reinforcements particularly for the defensive midfield department.
For now they have captain Arteta who is more of a deep lying playmaker and not a strong holding midfielder and Flamini who is effective but past his best.
Hence, Arsenal targeted the likes of Sami Khedira and William Carvalho for that position and the latter was chased a lot in summer but in vain.
Now, according to reports, Arsenal are closing in to finally agree deal for the Portuguese superstar who has a release clause of €45m in his contract.
The versatile midfielder was also tracked by other premier league clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea.
As per the provided link, Gunners are looking to discuss and agree fee ahead of the winter transfer window in order to complete Carvalho signing early in January.
Sporting Lisbon were reluctant to sell their star all summer for a cut price and wanted clubs to meet the asking price. However, they did want to sell the player to raise much needed funds and Arsenal may as well take advantage of that.
The addition of William Carvalho in Arsenal’s midfield will complete the puzzle for Arsene Wenger and will surely make gunners stronger.
