Arsenal Close in to Secure $26m Superstar Signing

Alessio Cerci TorinoArsenal have made some key signings this summer to reinforce their squad and challenge for the title.
However, they did not focus on the department where they lack serious quality and depth i.e strikers.
Playing Alexis Sanchez as the lone striker upfront was never the best idea and won’t be ideal in future as the Chilean is at his best in a free role.
Hence, the only senior striker was Giroud backed up by two young stars in Sanogo and Campbell. Still, Wenger claimed that the team does not need any more forwards.
The French coach may have to reconsider that decision now that his compatriot Giroud is sidelined with injury.
According to latest reports, Arsenal are closing in to secure the services of $26m rated Serie A star Alessio Cerci.
The Italian international had a brilliant last campaign for Torino FC and is ready to step up this season.
Cerci is a versatile attacker who has mainly played as a secondary striker last season. With not much time left in the summer transfer window, his addition can be fruitful for the gunners.
Last season, Cerci featured in 37 league games for Toino and his stats are impressive. The 27 year old star netted 13 goals and also provided 12 assists as well.
Gunners struggled against Everton in the first half without Giroud and now must act swiftly as they will not find many quality options that late in the transfer window.

We need an urgent striker. In my opinion Wenger is very slow when it comes to buying top class players. This becomes evident when you see all the other top clubs get the top class players. We always lose out.The truth is that Wenger does not want to part with the money that will buy us the best
