Manchester United are in for almost every top player this summer having got a huge transfer kitty much needed to bounce back next season.
On the other hand, Liverpool are looking to sign world class players as well having lost their talisman Luis Suarez to Barcelona and now have heavy funds to invest.
The merseysiders have recently competed the signing of Benfica winger Lazar Markovic, but the fans can expect more arrivals.
Arguably the best player Reds are linked with this summer is German international and Borussia Dortmund playmaker Marco Reus. However, signing him is easier said than done. Reus missed the world cup campaign with an ankle injury but will be fit in time for next season.
According to reports, Manchester United have jumped in for Reus as well but perhaps Liverpool remain favorites for the Kaiser if they are really serious about signing him and Dortmund are ready to sell. Why is that so?
