Now, the Red Devils are closing in on another double swoop for world class players in Arturo Vidal and Angel Di Maria.
If Man United can somehow secure these deals, it will be fair to say that they can challenge for the title next season. However, nothing has been finalized as yet.
According to reports, Manchester United are closing in on signing the South Americans stars with offers worth €111m.
As per the provided link, United are launching a bid of €48m to tempt Real Madrid in selling Angel Di Maria. Where as for Vidal, Manchester United are ready to offer a record breaking €63m.
Arturo Vidal is one of the best midfielders in the world while Di Maria is one of the best playmakers around hence United fans have all the reasons to be very excited about the two deals.
More importantly, if United can seal such mammoth deals without Champions League football, it will not only be a major coup but also they will be considered strong contenders for all the domestic titles with no European football around.
Argentine Angel Di Maria may join the club as a World Cup winner as his side will take on Germany in the final on Sunday. However, whether or not he will feature in the game is still in doubt.
The bookmakers also believe that United are moving ahead in the race to sign the top quality duo.

One thing I hate about Man United is that they are always lazy in transfer market. Considering their present position would they give any chances? They wil keep on closing in on Di Maria and Vidal till other clubs snatch them away… Everytime I read the news I only hear closing on, Liverpoo has 3 signings going for more, Chelsea the same, arsnal has signed Sanchez we are still closing in on one deal. Ed Woodword is doing nothing since the two players arrive and they think that is enough. Since the transfer window open how many weeks as been pass without sealing a good deal.please don’t promise us with empty handed.
