Without Champions League football, Manchester United are following the only way possible they can sign quality stars i.e. pay big fees and big wages.
For now, the Red Devils have splashed huge sum to lure Shaw and Herrera to Old Trafford and big spending need to continue for more big signings.
United are linked with numerous top players such as the likes of Sanchez, Carvalho, Hummels and Vidal. It remains to be seen how many top transfer targets they can lure this summer.
According to latest reports, there is brilliant news for Manchester United as the club closes in to sign Chilean and Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal.
As per the provided link, the Red Devils have agreed to pay the asking price of Vidal to Italian Champions i.e. €50m.
Previously, it was reported by Mirror that the versatile midfielder is keen to join Manchester United as the club looks to pay him a bumper contract.
Moreover, United were hoping they could lure Vidal with a €37m move. However, Juventus have been adamant and told that only €50m is the price tag if United want to sign the midfielder.
With that done, Manchester United seem firm favorites to sign Vidal as Arsenal are not likely to meet Juve’s asking price and won’t even pay huge wages as well.
On the other hand, Real Madrid are close to signing German international Toni Kroos and with his arrival, they will not need Vidal so Man United’s path seems clear.

Williamm carvalho is well worth the money he is only 22. In the season last year he had a pass success rate of over 90%. And was deservedly called into the portugese national squad for the wc and although they as a team did not play well he was their best player he had a good wc to match a very good season other than that felly i agree. But valencia needs replacing but not for cuadrado for di maria

I wonder why somebody wld suggest that rapheal should be offloaded. That guy has been outstanding. There are very few full backs in the world that can play like him. The likes of smalling, carrick, flecher, cleverly, young, valencia, and de gea. If rooney continues prooving indispensible, he can also be offloaded.

We need to be realistic. English players are overhyped. If i whr LVG, i wud force Rooney to play midfield along wit Herera, den play Mata behind Rvp. Kagawa, Adnan Januzaj n Chicharito wud serve as backup in case of injuries. I will also keep Valencia as backup for d wonderful Raphael, buy Vidal to play wit Rooney n co to form a 3 man midfield, purchase Any of (Reus, Di Maria or Griezman to play in d wings) buy Hummels or Dante to give Jones n Evans experience n finally, I wud sell d ff idiots (Young, Nani, Cleverley, Smallings and Welbek. Signing Vidal should have been the first priority coz we know United has never had a replacement since Roy Keane left.
