Manchester United supporters had been complaining for lack of transfer activity for top players that they desperately need for next season.
However, in the space of two days, the Red Devils have completed two brilliant deals for Herrera and Shaw to improve their midfield and defense.
The fans are delighted but United still need more top quality signings to challenge for the title next season and they are not going to stop spending in the transfer window.
In Herrera, Manchester United have a versatile midfielder, someone who can play as a deep lying playmaker, a creative CM as well as someone who can play behind the striker.
Still, the Old Trafford side are not satisfied with one player of that flexibility, in fact Man United are ready to splash heavy cash to lure another versatile midfielder with the same traits and arguably he is one of the best around in business.
According to reports, Manchester United are ready to make €37m move for Juventus and Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal who will be in action tonight against Brazil.
Vidal is unsure about his future with the Serie A side at the moment and is concentrating on the World Cup. As soon as that ends, the transfer saga surrounding him will become more clear.
Dutch manager Louis van Gaal is a long term admirer of the former Bayer Leverkusen star and wants him at Old Trafford this summer.

This is quit impressive, now our problems look to be surmountable
Signing Vidal would be brilliant but I think what we really need is a defensive midfielder, not a central midfielder. Yes Vidal can play as a holding midfielder but we wont get the best out of him that way as his attacking abilities will not be on show. I think we need Carvalho.
The moves seems to be smooth at the moment. I extols Ed Wood for his vibrancy and pragmantism in the transfer market. On the same course, he mustn’t be jaded already, with the club still in dire need of Mats Hummel, De Vrij / Varane, Janmaat, De Jong/Carvalho, Vidal… I think with these additions, we’r vastly ready to restore our lost glory!

Yes he will be a good signing,but,i think what we need now after the signing two players is a defensive midfielder like Williams if not Kroos

I’m proud of ED Wood for his vibrant effort towards our great club Man United, but additional players like Vidal, William Carvalho, Rubben, & mats Hummels, will be splendid in our great club.
I hope with the current trend of talented players been connected to the team vis-à-vis the new manager’s influence, Vilda or Carvalho is a sure bet for manu. In Van Gaal i trust. Up manchester united!!
Thumbs up! Mr. Woodwards. Utd as we all knw needs more signs in persons of carvalho,vidal,indi,depay,de virj n maybe sanchez in d right attack. Hw wanderful will the team look with this players.
No doubt about the ability of Vadal he’s a fantastic midfieder but am of the opinion that William Calvaho will be better. Judging from the fact that Ander Herrerer will florish more in CM while williams will be a rock at HM.
Man U definitely need top class players in central defense, central midfield and the wings. In my opinion we should go for Hummel , Varane , Vidal and the absolutely briiliant James Rodriguez. With this additions and the already confirmed signings of Luke Shaw & Ander Herrera we will be well on our way to re-claiming our throne.
Either of Hummel, De vrij & varane. I prefer Kroos to Calvaho, Vidal, De pay, sanchez. Utd need to bring in al they intend signing in time so we can release de flops in to reduce our wages.
