All out Attack – Liverpool's Probable XI vs Man City

Mamadou Sakho LiverpoolLiverpool are two points clear at the top of Barclays premier league but for now the main contenders are Manchester City.
The Citizens are 4 points behind Liverpool with two games in hand, Liverpool can amplify that difference to 7 points if they can somehow beat City on Sunday.
At Anfield, we all know the home team holds stronger cards and with three points much needed, there will be no surprise if Liverpool go all out attack firing on all cylinders from the word go.
With the quality of City’s attack, the return of Lucas as an additional defensive cover might make sense.
However. with all the momentum of 9 league wins, Liverpool should back themselves to unsettle City early on as they did against Arsenal, Everton and Tottenham at Anfield.
Here is Liverpool’s probable XI vs Man City.

I think Henderson should be dropped Lucas and Gerrard should hold the mid field which give both of them a chance when attacking and also defending the rest of the players should be unchanged as per layout.

Henderson is the lynchpin of our team. He holds it all together, Dropping / losing him would quite possibly be the worst thing that could happen. Not a bad idea playing Lucas, although I don’t think it will happen. Rodgers has been bold all season, that’s why we are where we are, so I reckon it will be probably the line-up shown above. You never know though, there’s been a hell of a lot of surprises already this season, every chance of another one! Come on redmen!
