Arsenal were always going to find it hard to turn around a two goal deficit against European Champions at the Allianz Arena.
Gunners have now lost out in the first knockout round of the competition for the 4th consecutive time.
Bayern were always going to be dominating but Arsenal as usual did fight back and earned a draw. Fabianski was arguably their best player who stopped Bayern many a times, plus he saved a penalty late on to deny them yet another victory.
In the attacking play, German star Lukas Podolski was the hit for the North Londoners as he was their main threat and also scored a wonder goal against his former club.
On the other hand, once again the flop of the match like the first leg was none other than Arsenal’s record signing Mesut Ozil. The former Los Blancos star was deservedly substituted at half time.
He has been way too inconsistent, especially since the turn of the year.

Giroud is too lazy. He has scored a couple of goals but far too lazy when it matters. Had he had any interest in the game, we would have won. The Ox was the best player for us.
