After getting absolutely annihilated by Liverpool at Anfield, Arsenal will hope to bounce back against a struggling Manchester United side.
Having lost their top spot to Chelsea, three points are a must for the Londoners if they do not want to slip further in the title race.
The North Londoners had a nightmare of a game against the merseysiders and their usually solid defense was ripped apart with ease and that is something Wenger will be focusing on.
Apart from that, Arsenal’s record signing Mesut Ozil was easily the worst player on the field and has been average at best for the past few games. Hence the German international is expected to be axed from the starting XI vs Manchester United.
In his place, Cazorla is likely to play as a central attacking midfield role behind Giroud and the expected incoming players can be either Podolski or Rosicky.
Other than that, Wenger is short of options in central midfield and may have to keep faith in Wilshere and Arteta to step up big time.
In defense, the wide players had no answers to Liverpool’s pace and quick passing, Sagna may as well keep his place but expect Gibbs to return in place of Monreal.

For sure let Wenger stick Giroud to the bench for God’s sake & try Podos or Ox pliz. This guy Giroud is too wasteful, with no confidence, no goal hungry I mean he plays as if they have already won the leaque. He’s too relactant and looses almost every pass to the opponent hence letting presure to the defenders. If ever Wenger can be found to tell him this, my heart will be releaved. He at times distress much with this man Giroud! Better try even Bendtiner. So sad to loose this Epl trophy of this season.
In my view Ozil does not deserve even the bench. Sagna and Monreal should be on the bench with Giroud. If Vermerleen is fit let him play in dm with whilshere. In attack lets have Betdner, podolski and Gnably or Ox. Behind them Caszola.
I think the issue is not JUST the team! After the 1st goal, Arsenal tried to attack Liverpool… I would think Wenger got some of it wrong as well. He should’ve instructed the team to fall back rather than throw the entire kitchen sink forward when Pool’s attack looked devastating with pace!
Giroud is our many worry because he is up no scratch ,can not score as other good strikers are doing.
I dont want to believe Wenger prefer Giroud cos they are from same country. If not, why cant he bench him as warning and a way to improve him? He made Giroud to biliv no one can bench him. Pathetic! Wen striker is wasteful, it has a devastating effect on the whole team.

We should approach this game like we did with Spurs in the FA cup. Let Poldi star upfront. Flanked by Chamberlain & Rosicky. Let Carzola take the position of the tired Ozil. In defence I would like some 2 changes. R,Sagna,L Gibbs en KOS & Verma. Centrtaly. Yes Mertascker has been and still He is fantastic. Bt He looks tired along with Ozil. Let See him against Bayern henceforth.

Rosicky must start this game and should have started the Liverpool game.I dont understand why we rushed to play wilshere having been out for a number of games.games. Rosicky is a committed player and will die for his team , his tackling is superb and brings calmness to the midfield, not to mention his pace on the ball.ball. Ozil needs to rest and its time Wenger held players responsible for their performance.He ought to stop rewarding failures…if you under perform, you don’t start the next game and I assure you every player will work his ass of to be in the first team and hence tremendously improve the team performance.Looking back to Liverpool game, we lost simply due to underrating Liverpool, poor team selection and the teams lack of comittemed. I thnk a false striker like chamber/gnabry is the best option than giroud/bendtner/podolsky(they r nt speed dribblers so they r marked easly by big clubs).againist big clubs,arsenal using striker/false striker with dribling skills and speed behind ozil will be exciting to watch,it wil be disartrous to opponent.they claim giroud(not gd ball controller) links wel with midfield!is that his work?if yes,then lets use a mid there he wil link even better(with this trick, bayern wil suffer even though they use the same trick(gotze)…
Arteta is also nt good in games with rocket speed opponents.he tracks home very slowly leaving our deffence exposed.vamaelen should b given a chance in DM,i feel he can beat even flamini in that role.
Monreal(LB) should stick to his role bcs he plays CB,he allows many crosses to come from(Left) by going to the box.instead he should call the DM(vamaelen is better bcoz he is fast than ateta) to cover the CB or make sure his teammate(11) is in his position(LB) to stop the crosses B4 going to join the CB..bt Gibbs is better
I agree Giroud seems to have lost his desire to score goals at the moment, and looked quite sloppy in a few games. It feels like Podolski and Ozil haven’t had that much time on the pitch together yet, and I would like to see them team up for a bit. Rosicky seems a no brainer, but Jack playing in front of him, even though he wasn’t match fit, makes me worry that Rosicky and Arsenal are not in agreement over a new contract (please let my worries be unfounded). The DM role is our biggest worry. Vermaelen is still injured, Flamini (who we’re really missing) still suspended. Arteta needs someone to support him, and personally, I though Ox look more comfortable there than Wilshere.

Giroud is our problem. The problem is compounded by a poor decision making Wenger. Rosicky adds pace into e team, podolski has a killer shot. That our manager is too blind to see I don’t know why. And plizzzzzz is there anyone to tell Mr Wenger to bench Giroud, we still got Bentner who works harder than Giroud but never gets a chance

Guys your views are very clear and understandable to a person who respects diverget veiws what i have seen in wenger , he doesn’t care becoz he is untouchable. If he really had that spirit winning silverwares he would have kept all good players sold or bought good players. Money is available at asernal. Am really disappointed as a arsenal fan. For me if possible wenger should change or fired for arsenal to win silveware. No kind words wenger i love arsenal but wenger is a bad element there.
