Fantastic Liverpool Stars on Course to Breaking Records

Sturridge and Suarez SAS LiverpoolLiverpool football club have taken massive steps of progress under the management of Brendan Rodgers and are well on course to finish in top 4 for the first time in four years.
A lot of that success is down to the prolific form of his two superstars playing upfront, Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge.
Together, the dynamic duo have scored no less than 37 league goals this season. Without a shadow of a doubt, they are the most deadly duo in the league at the moment.
The chemistry and understanding between them on the field of play is a joy to watch for the supporters and even neutrals.
Such is the form of the Liverpool stars that the duo are on course to breaking several goal scoring records.
Luis Suarez has been in unbelievable form since returning from his ban. Despite missing first 5 league games of the season, Suarez is the leading the goal scoring charts in the country by considerable margin having netted 23 goals in 19 appearances.
The Uruguayan international is also leading the race to win the European golden shoe prize. With 14 league games remaining, Suarez has the chance to break premier league’s record of goals scored by a player in a season.
Suarez needs 9 more goals to surpass Ronaldo and Shearer’s 31 goals record in a season consisting of 38 games. Not only that, at this scoring rate Suarez can even break Shearer and Andy Cole’s 34 goals record in a season consisting of 42 games as well.
As far as Sturridge is concerned, the England international has scored 17 times in 19 appearances this season. Remarkably, since joining Liverpool, he has scored 28 goals in 35 appearances for the Reds.
Sturridge has the chance to break the goal scoring record of many Anfield legends as at this rate he can become the fastest player to reach 50 goals for Reds but probably will be able to complete next season.
Currently, the record is held by not so legendary Fernando Torres who completed his 50 in just 72 games.
If SAS can maintain this form for the merseysiders, there is no doubt that the top quality duo can break many records.

they will not only reach the record, they will break it. as for Suarez, I am very convinced he’ll break Andy Cole and Shearer’s record this year. For Sturridge, it won’t take him up to 70 games before he’ll break Torres’s record.
