Manchester United Step up Interest to Sign $40m Star

Gundogan DortmundDavid Moyes continues his search for the right midfield star to reinforce the Manchester United squad.
He has been monitoring the situation of Dortmund’s Ilkay Gundogan and as things are developing the Red Devils may have a strong chance of luring him.
According to reports, Manchester United have stepped up interested to sign the $40 million German international but have to compete with Real Madrid.
However, Madrid have lots of quality in that department and Modric is currently doing well. The English champions need him more.

German star is still undecided about his future with Dortmund and will soon make a decision as he claimed:

“I will soon make a decision that will be well considered. It’s still really open”
“Dortmund are my first point of contact. I will make a considered decision soon but I am keeping my options open at this point.”

Gundogan has been injured in the first half of the season and hence the biggest advantage of signing him is that such a talented star is not cup tied for the Champions league.
Manchester United must do it all to lure him but can David Moyes somehow secure the deal, only time will tell.

I doubt David Moyes and Woodward signing any good player.

If Gundogan is not cup tied and Pogba can play for Man U in the Champs then Moyes should go for them. That’s all we need for the time being. Coentrao coming would make Man U dangerous. Just loo at this line-up
    ……………………..Roooney……………………….Van Persie……………………
    Coentrao…………..Gundogan………………..Pogba………………………..Januazaj
    ……..Evra……………………..Evans/Jones………………………….Rafael
    …………………………………………De Gea………………………………………..

I ve said it before and I will say it again mr moyes woodward are not good buyers or scouts on player , everything u are hearing is not true, moyes is not serious , he did the same during his days at everton lost out on so many good players to say the list london donovan who help him to a top 5 finish with and option to sign him for £6m he let him go , and now the. New everton man is buying new players any how with good money and u can see the results are coming is way

I totally agree, moyes is trash and has no idea on how to buy the right players and his people have poor negotiation skills so much that they tend to lose out on the best players because they always want cheap but cheap is not not quality, world class talent now days is very expensive so they should shove out the money and spend on lag behind and get fired if the optimal objective is not met

  6. Magnus says:

Moyes and management of man united should step up and get us these worldclass players to enable us stay alive in EPL and to at least qualify for Champions league next season.

Wishful thinking. Neither will leave in January.
Dortmund and Juve have far more chance of winning their domestic title and/or getting back to the CL than Man Utd. No reason for either to leave. Summer may be a different story especially if the Dortmund exodus continues.
