UCL – No Fear, How Arsenal can Beat Bayern Munich

Olivier Giroud of ArsenalFor the second season running in Europe’s elite competition, Arsenal and Bayern Munich will collide in the round of 16.
Gunners have themselves to blame as they only needed a point to top the group but lost to Napoli on the final match day and now they face European Champions, Pep Guardiola’s Bayern Munich.
Understandable that some fears are there but to be the best you have got to beat the best and Arsenal can surely beat Bayern Munich like they did last season.
Bayern might be all conquering but they have weaknesses and Manchester City showed real class in defeating them in Germany coming back from 2 goals down.
Gunners completely outclassed Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena last season beating them 2-0, however a dismal performance in the first leg at Emirates meant that they went out on goals difference.
Arsene Wenger’s side, despite the dip in form lately, are top of the premier league and have a top quality squad. However, they need certain reinforcements in January to be all set to face Bayern in UEFA Champions League.
Their defense has been rock solid, apart from the 6-3 thrashing against Manchester City where perhaps tiredness took its toll.
As far as Center midfield is concerned, they have the likes of quality players in Arteta, Flamini, Ramsey and Wilshere. In attacking midfield, they have massive depth with Ozil, Cazorla, Walcott, Rosicky, Chamberlain and Podolski, the last two will be there when Bayern fixture arrives.
The only department they lack strength is Striker. With the amount of chances they create, a striker better than Giroud will score lots and lots of goals and Wenger needs to realize that soon enough to sign a prolific goalscorer in January.
Olivier is a decent player, but compared to other strikers in the league, he is far far behind. A quality striker will complete Arsenal’s set as against top oppositions you just have to take your chances and Giroud is just not good enough.
With funds available, Arsenal need to splash the cash and sign a brilliant finisher.

I concour with that comment. Arsenal should not take chances in signing the best striker to get qualified in any competition

Thank GOD we have a suicidal fixture at R16…who gives a flying monkey. We need to exit this tournament pronto just like we did the capital Swans cup I hope we exit the FA cup quickly as well…GUYS these are the sacrifices we have to make to win our first EPL in 8 yrs. The UCL means nothing!! If you hold no domestic title. Liverpool come to mind… ex UCL Champs and people still write them off for the EPL.
Our seeding will still be intact by the way so once again who gives a flying monkey!!
Save the boys for THE EPL THE EPL THE EPL THE EPL THE EPL … play Nacho Ganabry Ox Fabiansky, Bendtner Vermalen Diaby Jenksion Frimpond Sanoogo…sht cant think of anybody else…
Im not saying our Ist team cannot beat Bayern. Im saying the physical and emotional investment is too high and we will pay with our EPL chances. Moreover the reward for crossing Bayern will be another suicidal tie so WTF..
