Arsenal and Manchester United are back in for Sami Khedira. United are badly in need for quality central midfielders and they have been linked with quite a few lately.
One of the names that the Red Devils tried to sign in the summer transfer market was Sami Khedira.
Manchester United had a €40m bid turned down by Real Madrid last summer and Moyes had plans to revive interest in January, however a major injury to the German star changed all that.
Now reports suggest that Manchester United can sign the Kaiser for just €24m next summer as he will only have one year left on his contract. But David Moyes (if he is there) will face competition from their North London rivals Arsenal who are also interested in luring him.
Arsenal have over crowded center midfield and have enough quality in the department that they really do not need Khedira that bad.
The likes of Ramsey, Wilshere, Arteta and Flamini are doing really well in the center and what Arsenal badly need is a striker.
United on the other hand are losing midfield battles in every other game. Fellaini has been a major flop thus far since his multi million pounds move to Old Trafford last summer and David Moyes needs more reinforcements.
Khedira is one of the best holding midfielders in the world and has been a key member of the Los Blancos side since joining them in 2010.
Manchester United must splash the required cash to lure him next summer but first they need to finish in top 4 as without CL football, they can forget about signing Khedira.

I believe in a strong and combative controlling midfield to win games. Khedira can fill the position which will reinforce our backline who lacked speed. Controlling midfield can close down opponents opportunities to attack and increase our opportunites to attack. Our creative midfield must create position and pinpoint passes for strikers to score. We need to score more goals like Liverpool and MC. At the end of season goal difference may decide the champion. If we consolidate our defence players like Ozil, Ramsey, Wilsher, Walcot, Carzola and Giroud can freely score. Khedira or Alex Song may be the answer. Giroud must be more clinical and lethal and less shielding for others. His main role is to score. Let others shoulder the shielding role. Giroud, Ramsey and Walcot must be released to mercilessly and habitually score goals.
