Why Man United Lead to Sign €18m Man who Ripped Chelsea

Mohamed Salah BaselEgyptian starlet Mohamed Salah absolutely rattled Chelsea in the opening game of the Champions League back in September at Stamford Bridge being the best player on the night.
This week, he repeated the heroics by scoring and defeating Mourinho’s men again to keep Basel alive in the Champions League.
Salah recently stated Manchester United as one of his favorite teams. He claimed

“I want to play for one of the best teams in the world.”
“My favorites are Real Madrid, Manchester United and Chelsea.”

Manchester United are looking to sign quality players in the January transfer window and €18m star is surely fantastic. That is the reason why so many top English clubs like Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs are after him.
The versatile playmaker is capable of playing at both flanks as well as centrally. This season, in 27 appearances, Salah has directly contributed in 16 goals (9 goals, 7 assists). Adding to that his price tag is also low as compared to Marco Reus and co who are definitely harder to sign this winter.
Anyways, coming to the question Why United are favorites to sign the man who ripped Chelsea apart.
Counting Spurs and Reds out as they are not his favorites and only considering those who are i.e Real Madrid and Chelsea.
Los Blancos have the likes of Bale, Ronaldo and Isco and they are not even interested in signing him. Not to forget they let Ozil leave.
Chelsea have an overly crowded attacking midfield with top players like Hazard, Mata, Schurrle, Oscar, Willian and De Bruyne.
Besides Oscar, no one really starts regularly for the Blues. Already fans are crying over Mata’s absence. There is no point signing another AM in Salah in that much crowd when their main concern is signing a top quality goal scorer, one that they have been missing for quite some time.
In such a scenario, Man United should really be favorites if they show keen interest in signing the youngster this winter. In my opinion, David Moyes should not waste time, he needs more creative player and must make a move for Salah at the earliest.

Chill out guys man u will never sign a player that way. Its always 1 way, yr in n yr out. A very long negotiation, far longer than the whole summer n they will start bidding from as law as £1m to make sure they will not pay a penny when its not necessary. Then by the tym they get to the breaking point. Aah well, that should be longer than 2 summers. Think of Sneider, Lewandoski, Fab, Strootman, Herera. Van Persie, who i understand, since arsenal was selling to a rival team, well the list is endless. We continue to be linked but nothing will definately happen. Hats off to the media guys tho, for raising our hopes in vain.
