Wenger to bid €18m to lure Star who Wanted Arsenal

Wenger to bid €18m to lure Demba BaEven after defeat at the hands of Manchester United, Arsenal remain on top of the league. However it is only a matter of time they will slip up if they do not reinforce squad in January.
One of the main positions Wenger needs to fill in at the earliest is that of a striker.
The Arsenal manager and fans are getting desperate with the striker situation. Despite the fact that Giroud has performed well up till now but whenever he is not working, gunners find themselves helpless with no depth.
Seeing Bendtner coming on from the bench does not drive any fear in the opponents’ defense at all.
According to Daily Star, Arsenal are going to return with a €18m bid to sign Chelsea striker Demba Ba.
Gunners tried to lure him in the summer transfer market on the deadline day but failed as Mourinho blocked the transfer because he did not want to strengthen rivals.
Ba himself admitted few months back that he was ready to move to Arsenal in the summer.
Things have not changed this season as well. Ba is getting few chances and minutes to play for Chelsea as he is still behind Torres and Eto’o in the pecking order.
Surely a move to Arsenal will be beneficial for him as well as the North Londoners.
The only issue is that why will Arsenal be willing to bid 18 million Euros when he left for half that amount last winter and has not shone for Chelsea.
Nevertheless, Ba is a proven premier league striker and can work in Arsenal’s system. There are other options available as well. Will it be Ba, only time will tell.

Wenger will not pay such big amount for Demba Ba, forget about it.

Demba Ba a natural striker is a good buy. He will complement Giroud and the team with his speed and poaching instinct. We have fantastic creative midfield in the likes of Ozil, Carzola, Ramsey and Wilshere who need lethal strikers like Giroud and Demba Ba to feed to.
When speed merchants like Walcott and Chamberlain return to send pinpoint flying crosses, Demba Ba and Giroud will certainly make them count. When not if we buy one more striker we will surpass MC in scoring with their twin strikers. Demba Ba, Diego Costa or Carlo Vela will give us the extra goals to win trophies.
MU lost was a good lesson to remind us to stay healthy, concentrate, keep possession, create position, pass accurately, close down opponents and lethal in front of goal. Only Chelsea and MC can equal our midfield quality and we have a more balanced team than the rest. So far our backline have silenced most of the opposing strikers. Reinforced with Demba Ba or Diego Costa we are in excellent position to challenge for the BPL and CL trophies and may just win them.

Demba Ba isn’t worth that amount because in as much he has been at Chelsea, he hasn’t proved or shone why he was bought in the first place. For me it’s £10m or forget it! #Arsenal

  4. Delford Magaya says:

I explained this, Wenger will not buy Demba Ba for that high price.

  5. Ronald obara says:

Diego costa or jackson martinez not ba please

After the purchase of Ozil i think Ba would be a downword step, or four. I could see the reasoning in going for him on a season long loan basis, but i dont see the sense in making him our number one target and doubt this player is the goalgetter thats going to re-cement ourselves as a true force. I could see us buying him (Ba) for lesser money, then ride the season out, come summer buy the real deal and Ba becomes our third strker.

A good striker in my opinion to sign would be
Yilmaz he has an aura on the field that arsenal could use to great
    Effect.
