Rooney wouldn't make it, but Arsenal youngster Might

Serge-Gnabry ArsenalHaving lost to Chile few days back, England were looking to bounce back against Germany but once again failed.
Joachim Low’s men defeated three lions in their own back yard and perhaps the best English player was their goalie Joe Hart who kept the scoreline respectable.
Not so long ago, Chelsea star Andre Schurrle stated that Germany’s squad is too strong and perhaps even Wayne Rooney would not make it if he was German.
A massive statement about one of their best players. However, Low believes that there is one Arsenal youngster who might make the World Cup squad next summer.
The player in discussion is 18 year old boy Serge Gnabry who has broken into Arsenal’s first team and has impressed big time.
Joachim Low claimed:

“The boy is really good. He has exceptional qualities.
“I’m still open [to him making the World Cup squad]. We have an eye on him.”

His stats are brilliant to say the least. In 2 U21 league appearances, he scored 2 goals and provided 2 assists.
In 4 premier league appearances (2 starts), Gnabry has scored a goal and also set up one. Adding to that in 5 U19 internationals for Germany this year, he has netted 3 times and provided 3 assists as well.
Germany already have many top quality attacking playmakers in the squad, young ones too. It will not come as a surprise if Gnabry makes it as well if his top form continues.
