Manchester United will want to start signing quality players as soon as possible in January to reinforce their squad.
However, one of their main transfer targets, Sami Khedira has suffered a major injury blow and will be out for the rest of the season.
United are also interested in his €21m team mate Angel Di Maria and Moyes is now looking to step up the chase for Argentine star.
As Bale and Ronaldo have started clicking together, it is likely that Di Maria is going to get less game time.
More importantly United need to add more top quality players to amplify the chances of retaining their title and former Benfica winger fits the bill.
On the other hand Arsenal are linked with host of strikers but the situation remains complex for them.
The likes of Luis Suarez, Wayne Rooney, Edin Dzeko and Karim Benzema are very hard to lure.
Liverpool will not let Suarez leave, that will not change, Rooney is now content at United, Dzeko and Benzema will have to sacrifice Champions League football if they leave their respective clubs.
Now, Arsenal have turn their attention to €30m man, Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke.
United and Spurs are also interested but Gunners need striker more than any other team as they are lacking depth in that department.
Benteke is a proven premier league striker with strong traits but will Wenger be willing to splash that heavy sum on the Belgian star, we shall see.

no thats not what the statement is trying to say what its trying to say is because edin dzeko and benzema are already registered for thier clubs in champoions leaague and according to uefa rules once a player is registered to a certain club he cannot play for another team in the same season.just like balotelli last season not being able to play for ac milan because he was registered to man city

Forget Pato. Get the established strikers like Dzeko,benteke,etc. Pay abit more and you
get the epl experience and quality.
What wenger need now is a striker that can play both champ and epl together. Therefore i suggest c. Benteke for that position or l. suarez.

No I would go for the argentine at PSG Ezequiel Lavezzi, a complimentary striker and draxler if we can get him…
Da Costa would be good if we can get him…… draxler would fit nicely again if we can get him……
Pay £45m or £50m and arsenal can get suarez. He is classic, even £55m as long as liverpool can let him go. He can win the premier league for arsenal and can play champions league football from the knockout stage which will definitely love. So arsenal should go for him all out.
In my option Eden Dzeko and Luis Suirez is the best
Saurez is one of the best,he will fit rigth in to the Gunners.If Arsene is willing to give out more than what he will than I think Liverpool will let him go,that is the league for us
