Liverpool Star Nominated for Prestigious Award

Liverpool Star Moses Nominated for Prestigious PrizeLiverpool’s summer loan signing Victor Moses has been nominated for the prestigious African footballer of the year award.
The Nigerian left Chelsea this summer to earn more regular playing time for the Reds but his performances for the national side and Chelsea in 2013 has helped him getting short listed.
Along with Moses, there are 4 other stars short listed for the prize that are as follows.

  • Yaya Toure (Manchester City)
  • Mikel (Chelsea)
  • Aubameyang (Borussia Dortmun)
  • Pitroipa (Rennes)

Moses helped Chelsea win the Europa league prize last season as he was one of the most influential star in the competition.
Not only that, the midfielder was in top form for his national side Nigeria as they won the African Cup of Nations after a long duration of no less than 19 years.
For Liverpool, Moses scored on his debut and has contributed effectively for the Reds mainly in the absence of Brazilian star Coutinho who was out injured for 2 months.
Can he win the coveted prize or will it be the Ivorian Yaya Toure to claim the prize again?
