Dream Possible – Playing for Liverpool 'Proud' for Any Footballer

Martin Skrtel LiverpoolHaving started the season in brilliant fashion, Liverpool have the best possible chance of qualifying for the Champions League but they need to remain consistent.
The competition for top 4 places is tougher than ever and every single point counts.
For now, Reds are second in the league with only 2 points behind leaders Arsenal. Both Gunners and Reds face difficult fixtures this Saturday as North Londoners take on Southampton where as Liverpool face arch-rivals Everton in the merseyside derby.
Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel believes that Liverpool’s Champions League dream is possible and they can achieve that target after failing for four years.

“All of us believe that this season we can stay towards the top positions and get back into Europe. To play in the Champions League is the dream for every player.”
“We are working hard every single day to achieve that. I hope at the end of the season we will be happy.”

Skrtel was linked elsewhere during summer but eventually stayed and also claims that he is happy the club and it is proud for any footballer to play for Liverpool.

“I have been here at Liverpool for six years and it’s been a great six years for me,”
“Playing for such an illustrious club like Liverpool for six years is something any footballer would be proud of.”

Liverpool will face difficult fixtures ahead in December and by the end of the year we can better judge whether Reds can achieve their Champions League Dream.
