Everyone attached to Arsenal football club is excited because of club’s brilliant form as they have been flying high in every competition this season as yet.
The best thing is that Gunners have been so impressive without few of their first team senior players who are injured.
Captain Vermaelen, Walcott, Cazorla, Podolski, and Chamberlain are all top quality players but even without them Gunners have enough depth.
However, one department where Arsene Wenger clearly needs more reinforcements is that of strikeforce.
Arsenal only have one senior striker in Giroud and if unfortunately he gets injured then Gunners may as well suffer.
They tried to lure Higuain, Suarez and Demba Ba this summer but failed. However reports suggest that Arsenal are going to revive their interest in Chelsea star in winter transfer window.
Demba Ba himself wanted a move to Arsenal as he claimed not so long ago but Mourinho blocked the transfer. Gunners are reportedly looking to lure the striker on loan in January to increase depth and may make the move permanent at the end of the season as well.
Ba who has been a prolific goalscorer for Newcastle has normally warmed the bench after joining Chelsea.
Can Arsenal lure him this time around, we shall see.

we need a striker like Demba Ba yes
worldclass? no. this is what we “needed” the last 3 seasons when we just wanted to be up there. If we want to win the league and contest for European honours – this is not the calibre required

Mou will not let him go, especially to Arsenal. I think we would benefit a lot from having Ba in the side. Our style of play which creates a lot of room and chances will suit Ba a lot too. I would be happy to see him come across but still would prefer Suarez as he has the killer instinct we need to contest in Europe and win the Premiership this season.
Either way, we do need a world class striker and Giroud to continue his excellent start without injury …
Yes we need someone like Demba Ba to help Olivier Giroud and I’m show this time we will get him.
No way! He’s a tremendous player with a good goal scoring record, yes. But, with all due respect to Ba, right now the gunners need more than that. We need a prolific striker with a devastating ability that is sure to cause all sorts of problems to opponents. A striker whose mere presence causes confusion to defenders.
Reports have it that Wenger is now more likely than ever to land a world class striker in form of Dortmund’s Marco Reus. If this move materializes, which we hope it does, it will be upon the likes of United, City, Spurs, and every body in opposition, to answer to the gunners.
Suarez is the key player we need now
Lukaku is the real deal – stolen from us several years ago. Offer 25+ mln for him and see Mou’s reaction.

2 cast iron pens on Wilshire today….. and Jackson Martinez plus Marco Reus for gunners Bender and Draxler would be nice too but cant be greedy 🙂
