When the Champions league groups were announced, majority believed that Arsenal will struggle to qualify in the presence of Napoli, Dortmund and Marseille.
However, gunners seem to be having fun in the Group of Death and a brilliant win against Italian giants Napoli suggest that they are strong Champions League contenders this season.
No one can deny that right now Arsenal are the best team in England and it is by no means luck.
Just one defeat against Villa was a wakeup call and since then they have been unstoppable.
Napoli, managed by one of the best managers in the world Rafa Benitez have been in impressive form too. 6 wins in 7 Serie A games. They have scored in every game and have been fantastic in defense like most Benitez’s sides are.
However, Arsenal literally blew them away in the first 15 minutes of the game and Napoli realized too late what struck them.
Record signing Mesut Ozil scored his first goal for the club with a superb finish from Ramsey’s ball and minutes later turned provider by laying it off to Giroud who made no mistake in making it 2-0.
Arsenal played flowing attacking football, wonderful to watch and that too without two of their best players Cazorla and Walcott. The rivals should be aware of the fact that their quality and depth will only increase when they return. Wenger surely has selection dilemma, a good one though.
Gunners top the Group of death with two wins and look favorites to qualify as winners. If their brilliant form continues, they can topple anyone. Few quality additions in January and they can be more frightening.

Its believe that all doubted are been put to shame, and that same arsenal that weren’t good are now seen as a threat to any team and not only a threat but also contenders. So i put to Michael owen that he should be so bias in his analysis.

Wenger is a real genius! I backtrack all the abuses i directed towards him. we might not win this season but atleast my happiness are back and i can afford to smile as i watch my team beat even against the odds! And ooh yes, who knows? we might just be fighting it out amongst the best if we can get Cazorla, Walcot and even Podolsky back!
