€32m Man United Star turning into a Major FLOP

€32m Marouane Fellaini turning into a Major FLOPAlthough some fans may say that it is too early to judge new Manchester United signing Marouane Fellaini as he has only played a handful of games.
However, being the champions of England, when you pay such hefty amount as much as €32m, you surely do not expect the player to take ages to settle.
Moreover, we are talking about a player who is not new to premier league. He has been performing brilliantly for Everton over the years and was highly regarded as one of the best midfielders in the league before joining Red Devils.
Since joining United, Marouane Fellaini has been pathetic to say the least and is turning into major flop.
Moyes did what normally small managers do i.e. when you are unable to sign top players, you go for players you have managed but not even the heartiest of United fans expected that Fellaini will be such horrific.
United were lacking a quality CM, someone who could add to both defense and can be creative in attack. Fellaini, as we all thought was the right choice but NO.
He is neither helping the defense nor providing any firepower upfront in attack keeping in view his performances for United.
Once again, the Belgian international was arguably the worst player on the field versus Southampton.
Lacked pace and was behind everyone all game. Lost possession as if he had a bomb at his feet not a ball and deservedly taken off after another disappointing display.
Slowly but surely, Manchester United fans are losing hope. After spending 32 million, we may have to spend another heavy sum to lure another midfielder because Fellaini is not helping. Even if he works too late, the season will be all but lost.
I will rate his overall performances for United at 4/10. That is the best I can give, others may even rate him lower than that. Do fans still believe he can come good?

well i agree with u there he as a holding midfielder should have held the play but was giving the ball way too easily southhampton were really pressing nd in the whole game which he couldnt handle he didnt use his big frame to shrug off attackers but i still think he can surprise u but if this goes on who can replace him plzzz tell me anderson is not that gud cleverly well he is mediocre then what is left buying in january is suicide ordinary players will be bought the only player in my eyes that could settle in this place is Nick powell but he is on loan for the rest of the season indeed ther is trouble in paradise nd moyes cannot fix it at the moment

He did not have a bad game against Bayer Leverkusen but he looked out of his depth yesterday, definitely outclassed by Wanyama. United is a great opportunity for Fellaini so we can’t blame him really. David Moyes is the one who the finger should be pointed at for paying so much to bring him in. He is slowly but surely killing the soul of United. No direction and no conviction anymore from a team that won the league by a landslide last season!

Moyes has paid fortunes for a ‘decent’ player then played him out of ‘position’ and wonders why he’s doing nothing… It’s so obvious there is an mathematical equation for it.. Moyes+average-fortunes=hopeless..

Well well if you guys say fellaini is not good, I will never believe in that bcs one things I notice is that most matches fellaini started man united always win or draw but until they remove him at the half time before the opponent usually score back. Apart frm that against man city match. But let’s flash back against shaktar, west brom, etc. Pls fan let put blame not only fellaini but to all the flayers bcs he is not the only player on field.

fellaini fellaini, omg!! Hmmm..hes becomin like torres to chelsea.the guy is so slow n it kills me.i dnt tink we can sign any beta midfielder cos of the man called moyes.hes scared of creative attackers cos they dnt trackback mostly. He tinks united shud defend rada than attack well.he is jus a negative manager with negative staff.God save man u.

Fellaini is a decent player and it’s quite unfortunate that the fulcrum of the wombling array of man utd’s starting eleven is placed on his shoulder, what do you expect of him whilst the whole team are performing poor and the manager is bereft of ideas to fix things together. He came with his own ideology and apparently, that has backfired. Both of’em should be given time. It’s too early to criticise them,if you doubt, ask everton and arsenal, early season suckers!!

I think the best solution to Man Utd midfield is Mikel Obi. I promise, if Man U were to get Obi to play with Carrick then Van and Ronny will be unstoppable, well if by December Man U cant get things rite. Then i guess they will be struggling for Europa spot. Moyes should be and stop looking frustrated.

  10. When it comes to United I am the Ultimate Optimist, but watching the Southampton game he appear’d lost slow and out of his depth, and as a defensive midfield player its basically his job to stop a team who are pressing really high on the pitch which is what Southampton did, personally I think he will come good, but watching that game I really believe Victor Wannamayer would have been a better buy !

moyes is man. U problem cos he want man.u to fit into his own style nd nt he fitting into man. U…. This is expectd of any manager bt he should hav atleast fit in to man.u then change thingz gradually to his own way… His style cant help rite nw bt d players can b encourage to do more… Atleast they were d same set of people we call epl champion.

  13. Obi says:

The truth carrick slow felliani slow = sluggish. Carrick poor felliani poor = wretched. Carrick average felliani below average = damn its suicide.

  14. Ashoboza says:

He’s slow, lazy, loosy, careless and outfit agains the SA. Lack of his creativity made a game slower and slower
