Spurs give AVB Green Light to Sign French Star

Spurs give AVB Green Light to Sign French StarAfter a successful summer transfer window, Spurs have heavily reinforced their squad and the departure of star Bale does not really hurt that bad.

Adding to that, the North Londoners are in no mood of stopping their spending as they look for further reinforcements in January.

The latest reports suggest that Spurs are favorites to land Sochaux right back Sebastien Corchia in the winter transfer window.

Defender featured in 34 league games last season and Tottenham were ready to bid 5 million pounds for him. The bid never materialized though.

However, Spurs have given AVB green light to sign French star in winter transfer window. Moreover, Corchia himself claimed that he is likely to leave Sochaux in January.

“I can leave Sochaux in January – the club have spoken with interested clubs,”

“I prefer to focus on the present at the moment, but leaving in January is a possibility.”

Corchia can play both as right and left back and the 22 year old will increase quality and squad depth.

He is quick, strong and considered one of the best in his position in the French League. 5 million for him will be brilliant deal for Spurs and AVB must ensure that he signs the youngster.

Arsenal are after him though as well. Spurs need central defenders at the moment, that’s the clear weakness in the team.
