Victor Moses was one of the brightest young talents for Wigan side under Roberto Martinez. Such were his performances, top clubs took notice and Chelsea eventually signed him last season.
However, Mouirnho returned and has already signed more attacking players, Moses knew he had to depart when star player Juan Mata is not even getting his deserved chance.
Liverpool needed an attacking midfielder as well. In the end, Reds opted to loan Moses and signed two more central defenders. Here is how Liverpool can utilize Victor Moses in the league. Probably will start every cup game if fit.
Starting as a Left Winger
Rodgers stated that he wanted an attacking player who could occupy the left flank so that Brazilian star Phil Coutinho can play centrally behind the main striker. Countiho has been brilliant for the merseysiders playing on the left and he constantly changes positions as well.
However, Coutinho’s ability to find the killer ball can be amplified if he plays as a CAM. Moses, naturally a right winger, has the ability to use both feet and can play on left wing as well. While Aspas/Hendo will cover the right wing.
When Suarez returns, he and Moses can shift positions on wide areas while Coutinho can play behind Sturridge.
As an Impact Sub or Bench Warmer
Iago Aspas will take his time to gel in the side. On the other hand, Henderson has started the new season brightly. Moreover, youngsters like Ibe and Sterling wait for their chances from the bench.
Goes without saying that you cannot keep Suarez out of the starting lineup when he returns. Then with so many options available, Rodgers will have to choose one of the many mentioned players.
Therefore, Moses may find himself on the bench, might be used as an impact sub in wide areas or perhaps will not be required as well.
