Will LFC Fans Treat Suarez like Torres and Van Persie?

Will LFC Fans Treat Suarez like Torres and Van Persie?Arsenal and Chelsea have been lately linked with Liverpool’s star man and one of the best players in the league Luis Suarez. Despite him being a controversial figure, The London based clubs are well aware of the fact that the Uruguayan is a world class player and will improve any team.
Liverpool on the other hand want to keep their star man. However, the attraction of Champions League football may lead to Suarez’s departure. The question is, will Liverpool fans treat Suarez like Torres and Van Persie were treated after leaving Reds and Gunners for another PL club.
Fernando Torres was the darling of the kop during his time at Anfield, however his late late move in January 2011 window to Chelsea completely changed things.
Spaniard claimed that Liverpool is his English club but then departed to fight against them as Merseysiders found it hard to challenge for top prizes, especially Champions League. Torres’s exit broke the hearts of many Liverpool fans who still call him a traitor for the way he left the club.
Arsenal fans supported striker Robin van Persie through the worst of times. The Manchester United forward was mostly on the treatment table for gunners and in eight seasons he could only feature in 30+ PL games once, that was his last and best season. Van Persie claimed that he can win titles with other clubs but he wants to win at Arsenal before leaving for Red Devils last summer.
Torres and Robin van Persie earned hatred from their former clubs’s supporters but their moves proved fruitful as far as silverwares are concerned as both have won titles with their new clubs.
As far as Suarez is concerned, he has talked about his love for Liverpool, but also stated that he wants to leave because of the way he is treated by the British Media, something that has adversely influenced him as well as his family.
Liverpool fans love the Uruguayan as he always gives more than 100% on the field despite all the controversies he has faced. The Anfield faithful may not mind if Suarez runs away from British media to join another league.
However, what if Luis takes U-turn (unlikely) and wishes to stay in the premier league with either Chelsea or Arsenal. Will he be considered as a traitor? Will he be hated by the Liverpool fans? Will he be eventually treated like Torres and Van Persie?

If luis stays in the prem he will be hated more than anyone else in football after the way liverpool stuck by him through his antics, were fauthful to our club and players but once you get stabbed in the back there’s no going back as Owen and Torres now know, I think he will be at Real next season but they need to be realistic and offer the £40 million needed and not player+cash deals unless it involves alonso.

  3. When Ronaldo returned to United with Real Madrid he received a hero’s welcome the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal fans should use this as an example instead of being jealous bitter haters but then again they are not cut from the same piece of cloth are they,I expect to receive bitter jealous hating resposes to this but Manchester United are an example to them all (now bring it on and prove my point )

By sayin what uve just said about liverpool and arsenal you’ve just proved your the bitter one you hypocritical dope!

    • Ronaldo returning to United is an example out of context. Ronaldo left for Spain, he did not opt to join another premier league club.
SImilarly, Liverpool fans warmly welcome Xabi Alonso as he left for Madrid in 2009 and still want him back at Anfield.
