Typical Arsenal

Typical ArsenalGunner fans thought that perhaps things have changed at Arsenal Football Club, just when they thought that the club are ready to spend big to sign a top quality player, they faced a reality check. It is the same old story again for typical Arsenal.
Arsenal badly need a world class goal scorer upfront and Wenger’s main priority this summer should be signing one. The gunners are heavily linked with Argentine star Gonzalo Higuain but reports suggest that they are finding it hard to agree fee with Real Madrid.
It is a well known fact that Arsenal are one of the most profitable clubs in Europe yet their habit of not paying sums around 20 odd million is baffling. On the other hand, over the years they have sold more stars and brought more youngsters that has never really helped them.
Arsenal have signed another young French international Yaya Sanogo but the former Auxerre player is injury prone and surely not a regular starter.
Everyone at the club is well aware of the fact that Arsenal need a player like Higuain and the fans are already excited about the prospect of having the Los Blancos star at the Emirates next season. However, typical Arsenal are not really willing to pay Real Madrid’s asking price for Higuain. Madrid want 25 odd million pounds but Arsenal are reportedly only willing to pay 21 million pounds and no more than that.
Higuain has an outstanding goal scoring record for Real Madrid, one of the best finishers around yet Arsenal are not willing to pay more.
This is one of the main reasons why Arsenal have lost so many top targets over the years because of the difference of  just 4-5 million pounds and other clubs have benefited. And that is why Arsenal have failed to win a trophy for so long as well.
Players like Higuain are winners and Gunners must do it all to sign him before any other suitor turns up, pays Real Madrid’s asking price and once again Arsenal and the supporters have to suffer.

Good article. You realized the facts.
All the news are created news i doubt. In case of Roony and Torres, Manu and Chelsia will not sell these players to arsenal for sure. Still all shit news are coming. Is it created news by Arsenal FC itself to cheat fans again ?
I don’t see any changes from Arsenal. They first need to change their attitude, simply spending money will not give anything. I don’t think Arsenal still has winning mentality. They want only CL birth to get more profit. Really feeling shame about my club.
No doubt, Arsenal will not spend money to win until Arsenal management or owner changes.

I think Tottenham will eventually take him as part of Bale’s move to Madrid. We will never purchase a world class player.

Good morning i like this lad called Wenger he knows how to get Arsenal fans excited like in the January transfer window when he Promised his going to sign David Villa did he, up to today it didn’t happen its the same story his cooking up for Higuian lets just keep our arms crossed and just watch what he does after all his the one under pressure because the money is there.

This is clearly designed to rile up the Gooners, and misses quite a few points.
First, it’s only July 3rd, Ancelloti hasn’t even been at Madrid for a week. There’s still plenty of time for Arsenal to sign Higuain, and it’s evident that he’s a top target. The speculation about not budging on the fee comes from dubious sources and ignores the fact that transfer business is complicated, so can we stop pretending that these aren’t multi-million pound business deals that can be wrapped up as soon as the press wants it done?
Sanogo will be a squad player, no doubt. Too many people forget that there’s a reason other clubs chuck massive sums at Arsenal for their players, because Arsene Wenger has a proven track record at developing potential into the finished product. They’ll just be hoping they can keep this one.

You hit the nail right on the head..A friend of mine told me a couple of days ago that Arsenal doesn’t have what it takes to bring in top quality players to the club.we boast about having the financial muscle but do nothing substantial to support that claim. All we do is sell or best players and buy teenagers to develop and sell after a couple of years. The sad truth is that Arsenal has lost its winning mentality,Cl qualification might be all it has to offer to its supporters and fans and its very frustrating .

i definately think this is the right time for wenger to pack his belongings and leave the club, he got 70 million and has kept it in his pocket and time is going.

We are not Chelski or Ci$y or any of the other suger daddy clubs around europe we have to negotiate with regards to fees an wages we dont just ask ” how much?” and then pay it we pay what better informed people then us feel is the right amount.
If u want to support a team that operates in a “fantasy football” world then take yr support else where….. l can promise u wont be missed

  8. Brian Nye says:

Yeah time is running out only 2 months an around 28 days left……. panic stations!!!

    • Goon says:

and i thought Transfer market closes on 31st August. Goes up til the end of September for you eh

      • Brian Nye says:

So sorry l counted sept when l shouldnt have done but my point remains with only 2 days gone how the hell is tine running out?

        • Goon says:

Brian, for a player like Higuain you never really know when a competitor comes up. By your logic, you are convinced that Arsenal will not face any competition for 2 months and they can buy Higuain even if they want on the final day.
We are not talking about a mediocre player here. Higuain is world class. what if tomorrow City or Chelsea up their interest.
Remember we were in for Mata, a few days later Chelsea came in and went away with his signature. That is how they do deals and it hurts in the end

  9. Brian Nye says:

My point wasnt about anyone player it was in response to the comment about wenger not spending any money an time was going

  10. If they are willing to fork out 25 million for Rooney the statement that Arsenal dont pay more than 21 million does’nt ring true if Arsen Wenger has got 70 million to spend I would try and be patient if I was an Arsenal fan,the window has only just opened !!

  11. B=====D says:

We really need this signing to kickstart a revolution. Like what we did with bergkamp. Offer 24m for higuain. The yhe rest will follow. We did it once before. We can do it again. Just pay thr god dang money and bring him to the emirates

  12. santiago says:

Higuain is not going to tottenham…might have been a legitmate fear if we lost out on UCL qualification, but that’s not the case.
Let’s be patient. We have the money this time around, and both clubs are dragging their heels for a higher valuation, but Higuain genuinely want’s Arsenal. Juve was offering a much lower fee.
Chelsea, Man Shitty, PSG are all fighting over Cavani. Suarez is also in the Mix. United has RvP and is signing Alcantara.
Arsenal doesn’t have much competition for his signature, so Madrid will have to come down to meet the offer
